Stop the hair loss!

man with hair loss

One of the most natural signs of aging is the loss of hair. It usually starts around 40 but of course that doesn't mean everybody fits a schedule and it depends only on your age. Some people are genetically disposed to baldness. Others have an unhealthy lifestyle, accelerating the loss of hair.

Hair is mostly made up of protein, fat and minerals. It is a living tissue, follicle that is nourished, built, fueled and cleansed by nutrient rich blood. Protein and fat are the building material and the fuel for the hair, while water, minerals, vitamins, etc. are who cleanse, cool and moisten it.

So its easy to come to the conclusion that healthy eating is a key factor for keeping hair where it belongs.

What is healthy eating when it comes to hair?

There are a few key points in a healthy diet:
  1. Make your own well balanced menu with plenty of fruits, vegetables, grains, protein and healthy fats.
  2. Increase your intake of dark leafy vegetables.
  3. Eat super foods like broccoli, chia seeds and berries that are packed with vitamins and nutrients.
  4. Drink plenty of water.
  5. Avoid overcooking vegetables because it robs them of their nutrients.
Your lifestyle is just as important!

There are several factors in a person's lifestyle that surely affect hair loss in a major way.Things like smoking and drinking alcohol harm you hair dramatically. Try quitting those 2 habits at least for a while and see the results yourself. Your hair will feel and look a lot healthier. And of course this will help your health in general so you should really consider it!

Another bad lifestyle habit is using strong chemicals to improve your hair's present appearance without thinking about how this will damage it in the long run.

Herbs are the most natural and effective way to prevent and reverse the process of hair loss

There are a couple of herbs that can help you in the fight with hair loss:

Horsetail
Horsetail helps improve circulation and blood flow. This stimulates the hair follicles and is necessary for promoting hair growth. High in Silica, Horsetail strengthens weak hair and increases it's vitality. Horsetail is often added to herbal preparations that fight pattern baldness.

Saw Palmetto
Its generally known for its great effects on prostate health, but studies show that its also great for hair loss. The reason is that saw palmetto can block the effects of testosterone which are one of the main reasons for hair loss

Siberian Ginseng
Ginseng is a wonderful herb that has many benefits. One of these is that it increases stimulation and improves blood circulation. This can help those who are suffering from hair loss or weak and damaged hair. Ginseng will also remove any toxins that may be clogging your hair follicles, slowing down or stalling new hair growth. You can choose to apply Ginseng through a hair and scalp oil. You may also take Ginseng in capsule form daily. Ginseng and Saw Palmetto are the most common herbs recommended for herbal hair growth treatments.

Rosemary
Rosemary will help unclog follicles and promote hair growth. It may be added to oil and massaged in the scalp. Rosemary is also a powerful antioxidant and helps fight free radicals. It is also frequently added to herbal hair remedies.

You don't need to go around looking for all those herbs. Now there are solutions such as Provillus which are a combination of herbs, vitamins and nutrients formulated to cut hair fall in men and promote hair regrowth. Age old proven herbs are now enhanced with essential vitamins and important nutrients. Some of the reasons I always recommend Provillus are:
  • All ingredients are 100% natural and extremely beneficial

  • Its FDA approved
  • It has been on the market for as long as 15 years
  • And comes at a good price, compared to its competition
