Chili peppers have been a part of the human diet in the Americas since at least 7500 BC and perhaps earlier. There is archaeological evidence at sites located in southwestern Ecuador that chili peppers were already well domesticated more than 6000 years ago and is one of the first cultivated crops in the Americas.
Red hot chili pepper a.k.a Capsicum annuum is used when having high blood pressure due to its vasodilatory effect. Also when suffering form cold.It is used to heal ulcer, with compress from castor oil to help the infiltration of the herbs in the tissue.
Red hot chili pepper is almost mandatory to use after insults and heart attack. Also used in state of shock and to stop internal and external bleeding.
Other effects of the red hot chili pepper are antirheumatic , antiseptic , spasmolytic , carminative , emetic , expectorant , stimulant , sialagogic , appetizer , helps food digestion and a good tonic.
But red hot chili pepper is also creating mucus and can irritate the mucous of the digestive tract. So i dont recommend continued usage.
