I have already told you that you have to set realistic goals in order to achieve progress. But that doesnt count only for fitness and weight loss. Every successful person knows the secret of setting goals. No matter the field.Athletes, businessman even nation leaders in the start of the campaign set goals.
Setting clearly defined short term and long term goals will enable you to measure your progress and achieve personal satisfaction once you have successfully met your goals. Charting your progress will also enable you to actually see the stages of completion leading to the actual realization of your goals. This eliminates the feeling of a long and pointless grind towards achieving your goal. Your self-confidence and level of competence will also improve as you will be more aware of your capabilities as you complete or achieve your goals.

If someone tells you that than he is a loser. Someday will never come.Just dont count on him to help you or god safe be your business partner.Take your life in hands dont leave it to the someday flow. The time has came for you to stand up and decide what and when do you want to happen with your life! Set one major goal and than break it up in step by step goals that will lead you to the ultimate one. Always remember that the only way to eat a elephant is bite by bite you cant eat it in one time... the same is with goals if you dont break it to achievable goals and try to hit the major goal with one shot it may just ruin you. You may take a hit you are not ready to get up after. So once you have broken the major goal in pieces right it down and start to tackle with them.
A good way to have a manageable list is to have a daily and weekly set of goals. By doing this you will be always in the position of going towards you life plan goals. Everyday will give you the opportunity to fulfill a certain goal giving you the feeling of accomplishment.
Its very often that I come across people who say they desire something. They really work for it and work for it good but in the finishing moment, when they are in front of the victory, the time for the kill has came and they just fail. They simply fail... not because they did not have the skills but it was like something in the smallest corner of their brain was keeping them away from success. Im sorry to say that one of those people was me. Its like the angel and the devil on your shoulder. In the key moment the devil makes you hesitate, makes you wonder is that what you really want? What if you fail in the last minute? What will people think about you? And you start to lose your confidence and with that your chances.
So its very important that you ask yourself if any part of you or your mind holding you back towards completing your simplest goals? If there are any part of your behavior that is being a
hindrance or puts your plans into disarray? If you do have problems in these areas then the immediate thing to do is to address this problem. Solutions may include a visit to a doctor or psychiatrist to control your emotions.
Another key moment in achieving goals is time management (soon I plan on making a post about it cause its really important) for now i want you to get to know the Pareto Principle:
The Pareto Principle also known as the '80:20 Rule' states that 80% of efforts that are not time managed or unfocused generates only 20% of the desired output. However, 80% of the desired output can be generated using only 20% of a well time managed effort. Although the ratio '80:20' is only arbitrary, it is used to put emphasis on how much is lost or how much can be gained with time management.
Setting goals can turn your life around. It can be used in every field and is a method famous for its great results.
