Water is 2/3 of the human body and is the most important thing after air. The human anatomy and the mechanics of our body need water just like the car needs gas to work properly. Water really helps decrease chances of disease. For example drinking eight glasses of water daily can decrease the risk of colon cancer by 45%, bladder cancer by 50% and it can potentially even reduce the risk of breast cancer. Experts say that drinking 8 glasses of water a day is perfectly enough. But actually how much water you drink depends on you lifestyle. Its real simple. Just think about your activities. If you are regularly sporting than of course you need more water than the guy sitting on his couch all day long. But a often mistake people do is they think that your body needs water when you fill thirst. Actually thirst is a very poor indicator of body dehydration and so many people walk dehydrated without even knowing.Here are 3 rules i red somewhere about drinking water:
- Drink twice as much as it takes to quench your thirst.
- Drink frequently throughout the day to prevent dehydration.
- Drink at least eight glasses daily, or one cup for every 20 pounds of body weight. For example, a 150-pound person who does not exercise or work in hot climates needs 7.5 cups.
Water doesn't only prevent disease but it can heal lots and lots of them.For my knowing 30 or more very oftenly met disease like stomach problems, asthma, slight stroke ,hair loss , stress, depression, fever etc. (I will discuss every each of them in later posts)
So remember water can get your body and spirit going so don't forget the 3 golden rules about drinking water!
